“Food'“ is a theme that lends itself well to my Mid-Century Inspired art style. Here are several of my favorite compositions featuring various meals from breakfast to sushi.
You can see all of my food and still life art in the Still Life section of my Etsy shop.
With this series, I wanted to create a cohesive collection of works that would allow me to explore form and color through a common theme in a minimalist modern style. My mother has a huge collection of shells and beach-finds from her many travels. It was while admiring this collection on a recent visit home that I found my inspiration for this project.
I have 5 different color palettes for this series. You can explore them all in the “Beachcomber Series” section of my Etsy shop.
This series is an exploration of the mundane objects and routines of an average day through still life compositions. In order: Get Ready, Work, Get Fit, Relax
All my still life work can be seen in the Still Life section of my Etsy shop.
With this collection, I wanted to have some fun and flex my illustration muscles with a challenge to utilize my Mid-Century style in a cohesive series intended for children. Each illustration features stylized bugs in whimsical settings engaged in activities any human might enjoy. These were such fun to create and I’ll probably add to this collection over time.
So far, here are the titles:
Painting for Moths, Teatime for Ladybugs, Storytime for Ants, Tennis Time for Grasshoppers, Game Night for Flies.
These are all available in the “Kids Collection” section of my Etsy shop.
A selection of ceramic works from my pottery practice in cone 6 and cone 10 studios.
This collection is inspired by my love of plants and their fascinating variety of form and color. Some are plants from my own collection, the collections of friends, and various other plants I’ve photographed in my travels.
These are available for purchase in my Etsy shop.
